What are the MUST DO's for all Laser & IPL Appointments?

• A 30 minute full consultation must be booked 48-72 hours prior to every clients Laser or IPL Therapy appointment.
• A patch test will be performed at the initial 30-minute consultation. This patch test will ensure your safety and the effectiveness of the treatment.

Do I Need to Shave Before my Permanent Hair Reduction Appointment?

• Client must shave the morning or the night prior to their treatment appointment and leave a 20c coin-sized patch test before each Laser and IPL appointment.

Can I Wax or Tan Before my Permanent Hair Reduction Appointments?

You must wait 3-4 weeks after you perform any of the following:

• Sun exposure
• Spray tan
• Self tan Fake Tan & Bronzer
• Waxing or Hair removal

For the Best Results, How Long Do I Wait Before Each Appointment?

You need to book every 8 to 10 weeks for the lower body (bikini and legs) and every 4 to 6 weeks for the upper body (face and underarms). Our Laser Technician and The Front Desk team can prebook to suit your schedule.

Do I Need to Prepare My Skin in Any Way?

Yes,  when you are coming in for IPL Treatments for Pigmentation issues you must use a pigment blocker 2 weeks before your initial treatment. Your Skin Technician will give you all the information you need at your initial consultation. Our Spa highly recommends Ultraceuticals Brightening Serum, available from our Sp.

Do I Need to Complete Consent Forms?

Yes, we have consent forms for all our services. Your Skin Laser Technician will present you with the relevant consent forms before proceeding with any Laser or IPL Therapy.

It’s very important to understand the hair growth cycle in order to recognise and understand many of the problems you can encounter with your hair. The hair growth cycle consists of three distinct stages – Anagen, Catagen and Telogen.

Understanding your Fitzpatrick skin type

Those with Fitzpatrick skin type level 4 and above will 15 minutes added to their appointment time and are potentially at a higher risk to treat. Your Skin Therapist will assess your skin at your initial 30-minute consultation.
